UniSeal® High Risk Nitrile Gloves
are made from 100% soft blue Synthetic NBR (Nitrile Butadiene
Rubber), a synthetic compound that's completely latex-free .
Non-Latex High Risk Nitrile gloves do not contain allergy-causing
proteins, therefore they can provide a excelllent alternative for
people who experience latex sensitivity and have the potential for
adverse allergic reactions associated with latex protein.
The soft Nitrile glove material reacts to your body
temperature and conforms to the shape of your hands making them
exceptionally snug. So you get a cool, dry, precise fit, with far
less hand fatigue. Nitrile material also has a naturally low
coefficient of friction, making them easy to don (put on).
UniSeal® High Risk Nitrile Gloves give you a
full 8 mil thickness of barrier protection - twice as much
protection as regular Nitrile gloves - against punctures and tears,
and stand up to a variety of of harsh chemicals, cleaners,
solvents, epoxies, adhesives, paints, greases, oils, and bases.
They also feature an extra-long 12" cuff for an additional measure
of safety and are fully textured for easier gripping.

MEDICAL GRADE
GLOVES
UniSeal® Nitrile gloves are manufactured in
accordance with FDA specifications, USDA guidelines, and the
Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) for food handling,
processing and preparations. These gloves are safe for preparing,
washing and processing meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables,
desserts, beverages, etc. in all USDA inspected establishments.
Medical grade exam gloves include latex examination
gloves and non-latex synthetic exam gloves such as Nitrile gloves and Vinyl gloves. These disposable
exam gloves are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA). FDA makes sure that manufacturers of these devices meet
performance criteria such as leak resistance, tear resistance,
etc.
The protection offered by a disposable Medical
grade exam glove, referred to as its barrier effectiveness, is the
ability of the exam glove to withstand viral penetration. Gloves
that pass Viral Penetration Tests (ASTM1671D) provide an effective
barrier against bloodborne pathogens, as mandated by the Food and
Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and
Health (NIOSH).
DON'T BE FOOLD - BY B GRADE
GLOVES
Also known as off-line gloves or industrial grade
gloves. They are not medical grade. These are
either made to not meet medical gloves standards in the first
place, or they fail in pinhole rates or specifications in quality
control, and are downgraded from medical grade to B grade. These
gloves are usually labeled as disposable gloves and cannot be
labeled as exam gloves, and do
not provide barrier protection against Hazardous
Materials, Toxic Chemicals, Biological Risks (known and unknown)
and other pathogens.
